UNBEETABLES FIELD DAY

Fodder beet has been grown in New Zealand for many years and is starting to gain popularity in Australia as part of dairy cow winter feeding systems.

Rendell Farms together with Kober will host the Unbeetable Field Day on Wednesday, 3 February to showcase the high-quality grazable or harvestable fodder crop, which can produce 40 tonnes per hectare.

"We really want to hold this event in our community to give them some positive information about farming and also bring them together socially onthe day to hopefully get their minds off any problems they may be facing," Spencer Rendell of Rendell Dairies said.
